The “natural” tank allows for simpler maintenance . Simply shine a light through the tank to see the current calcite levels and replenish as needed through the dome fill port. The calcite level should be monitored monthly and topped up annually or sooner if required.

The filter uses a natural translucent fiber-reinforced tank for superior strength and durability with a dome fill port for easy replacement of the media. The system uses either Calcium Carbonate or Magnesium Oxide depending upon the PH level of the water source. The media will typically increase the PH of the water 1 to 1.5 points. The level of the calcite media should be monitored monthly by shining a light behind the tank to determine the level of the media and topped up as needed through the dorm port. The tank and valve have a full 10-year warranty.
